Sunday 17th March, 1-3pm
Tayport Community Garden
Join us for a celebration of re-use for the Scottish Pass-It-On week.
Declutter your garden shed and bring your excess seeds and tools to swap with others. Our Gardener, Peter, will also run a demonstration of secateur maintenance and sharpening. We will serve tea and cake, and have some activities for the kids so it should be a fun outing for the whole family.
Any left over tools or seeds will be adopted by the Garden, donated to community groups in Tayport or other projects around Dundee and Fife.
PLEASE NOTE: Bring small gardening tools only in fair repair (slightly rusty spades and forks are OK). No power tools (chainsaws or lawnmowers) and no pots/trays please!
And if you feel like you need a deeper spring clean across your home – here is a link to the decluttering guide from Zero Waste Scotland (PDF). There are lots of other Pass-It-On reuse events around during the week, from repair cafes, through donation drives to swish gatherings – you can find the full list here.
