Bats are cool!

By 31st October 2018March 8th, 2020No Comments

Do you remember the bat walk we did at Tayport Community Garden in September? The turnout was fantastic with over 60 adults and children coming out to find out about our bats and everyone had a fab time bat-hunting in the dark! We are very thankful to our guide, David Martin, from Tayside Bat Group who was a very entertaining and knowledgable speaker and a skilled bat detectorist. In fact, he had so much fun leading our walk that he is wanting to come back and do it again in the spring – so keep an eye out on our Facebook and Events pages for an announcement.

In the meantime, below we are including a podcast where Kaska chats to David about why bats are cool, how to eavesdrop on them and why you’d want them in your garden. Click on the image below to go to the podcast page on Anchor (don’t forget to turn your sound on to listen;).
