PLANT is inviting applications for the position of a Volunteer Coordinator to support and develop Tayport Community Garden and associated projects. Details of the position below.

Volunteer Coordinator

A part-time temporary post until 31 March 2020.

23 hours flexibly over 3-4 days per week, including weekends.

Salary: £25,000.00 (pro rata)

Responsible for engaging and supporting volunteers for the Community Garden, organising volunteer training and liaising with community groups. Post holder will ensure that all activities reflect inclusive and low carbon principles.

People Learning About Nature in Tayport (PLANT) is a Tayport Community Trust subgroup which works to achieve TCT’s overall aim of promoting a vibrant and sustainable community, with improved quality of life, specifically through projects involving growing food and flowers, while enhancing Tayport’s natural environment.
