Would you like to help plan the first growing season at Tayport’s new Community Garden?
PLANT is holding an Open Meeting on Monday 13 June 2016 at 7 pm at the Garden. We need plenty of people with enthusiasm and ideas about how to develop and enjoy the garden. There are also many ways in which you can help as a volunteer. Whether you are completely new to gardening or have skills and experience, whether you have only a bit of time to spare or plenty, please come along. If gardening is not your cup of tea, you could still get involved, as a community blogger, supporting others or helping with small construction work, for example.
These are exciting times for PLANT as we have three new members of staff who have just started work with us: a community gardener; volunteer co-ordinator; and blog co-ordinator. You can find out more about them here.
PLANT also has an organizing committee which helps run the garden. The meeting will also include elections to the Committee. If you are interested, please contact us on plant@tayportct.org.uk.
Refreshments, including home baking, will be available.
