Grow and Share Stall

Want to grow your own veg and salads at home? Seeds are not always easy to find just now.

Or maybe you have already started. Do you have surplus seeds and young plants that you can share with others?

On 3 May, PLANT’s Grow and Share Stall will have for free, limited amounts of:

  • Family kits to start off growing beans, sweetcorn or peas (compost, seeds, pots, labels)
  • Veg seeds
  • Tomato plants
  • Seed and seedling swop and share area – please bring whatever you have to spare.

On 31 May, there will be another chance to swap and share seeds and seedlings. Any spare seedlings from your starter kit?  Bring them back for planting in the Community Garden.

Health precautions

The Garden remains closed to community access due to Covid-19.  A small rota of volunteers is maintaining the Garden, observing Government guidelines. For more see our COVID-19 statement.

Please stay safe by observing social distancing of 2m.   Gloves recommended.

Please wash your hands carefully when you get home.

Getting to the Garden:  as usual, please do not bring your car down Pond Lane, and walk or cycle to reach the Garden.  If you have a disability, please email admin@tayportgarden.org with any requests, and if we have the materials you want, delivery may be possible. Map with location of the garden and access can be found at the bottom of this page: https://tayportgarden.org/grow/community-garden-2/
