- Are you 5 to 18 years old?
- Do you like ‘doing’ different things?
- Do you like to choose activities for yourself?
- Would you like to get a reward for everything you complete?
- Succeed, be proud of yourself and make others proud too!
It looks like The Children’s University is for you!
Check out The Children’s University Scotland webpage for the details of how you can become a member with your own CU Passport to learning. For the list of activities available at our Tayport Community Garden click here. The activities usually take place on Sunday afternoons. Please contact our Volunteer Coordinator or message us on Facebook for more details.
There are many other CU activities and destinations in Scotland and elsewhere in the UK. There are SO many different, exciting and challenging things to do out there. There is no need to ever get bored, at home or on holiday, even on a rainy day. You can also encourage your grown ups to get involved too – they won’t get a stamp in a passport… but don’t tell them…ssssshhhhh! Just say they will enjoy themselves and might learn along with you.
Not only will you have fun, but you’ll learn so much and build lots of extra confidence too. Everything you do could help in school as well. Imagine telling your friends and your teacher that you are inviting your family to your very own graduation ceremony at a local university!! Wow!!… now that IS cool!!
