Gardens can be real haven for the creatures of the night, including bats! We don’t usually see or think about those fascinating night-time visitors so we thought we’d invite David Martin from Tayside Bat Group to give us a show and tell about bats at the Community Garden. He will discuss the bat sound recordings we made over summer and we will use bat detectors to check what’s around on the night.
Please wrap up warm and bring a torch if you have one (we will have some at hand).
All are welcome!
Hot tea/coffee and biscuits should keep us warm, and we are looking into roasting some marshmellows over the fire too!
The event will be cancelled if it rains.
