What can we learn from the past to inform our future?

Join us for our second Climate Action Fife event exploring ways to future proof our lives in a changing climate through stories of the past!

A family friendly event at the garden with Storyteller Owen Pilgrim spinning tales and weaving hope through stories of peace, justice and the environment. Bring stories, books, characters or family tales that inspire you to take care of the planet and the future generations to contribute to our collection.

Owen Pilgrim is a professional storyteller with over 15 years experience. His stories range from the mythological to fairytales, and to folktales from around the world, with many stories from Scotland. Through telling stories at festivals, events, schools, libraries, for various organisations and community groups Owen has a repertoire of stories that range from nursery age children up to adults, and is very adaptable depending on the environment.

Feeling most at home in a natural outdoor setting he has worked extensively with nature connection practices involving groups of children, adults, as well as community engagement projects. Also through workshops Owen brings a greater attention to the meaning of stories and how we can find relevance for them in our own lives.
