Mindfulness in the Garden @ Tayport Community Garden

We would like to invite you to a morning of meditation, movement, and small group discussion to introduce and connect to Active Hope (Active Hope: Becoming An Active Participant in Creating the World we desire, Joanna Macy & Chris Johnstone).
Here we will look at building connections from a heart space through to a collective response. The activities will provide a grounding experience to allow connection to your inner strength, to the natural world and externally through our community.
With the backdrop of Tayport Community Garden, we will provide a safe space to connect and explore our feelings of experiencing climate emergency. We will hold small group discussions so that you can express them without judgement, it is also an opportunity to connect with others in the community to help build a network of active hope. You will also learn some grounding techniques through yoga and nature-based wellness therapies.

Spaces are limited – please message Angie on angelahoughton@live.co.uk for more information and to book a space.

This event is part of the Climate Action Fife project bringing together individuals and communities to tackle the climate emergency and make Fife a greener, fairer place to live.
