Big Climate Conversation – Tayport

Did you know that Scotland has declared a climate emergency? Join us for a cake and a conversation to tell the government your thoughts.

How would (or could) you help? Would you give up your car? Switch to a renewable energy supplier? Would you reduce how much meat you eat? And what do you think we need to do as a country?

Scottish Government has invited local communities across the country to share our thoughts about what Scotland is doing and needs to do to combat climate change. PLANT and Tayport Community Garden is holding this session to allow us here at Tayport to contribute their thoughts.

They would like to gather as many opinions as possible. You don’t need to know anything about climate change – they’ve provided lots of information to chat about.

We will make sure there is some yummy cake to chat over – all conversations are better with cake!

Children over the age of 10 are welcome if they’ll be comfortable taking part in the discussions.

BOOKINGS ARE ESSENTIAL so that we can make sure we have enough materials for everyone and sufficient cake to go around too;) Please reserve your space via Eventbrite here: https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/big-climate-conversation-tayport-tickets-72916646653

Location is to be confirmed, depending on numbers. We will hold an additional event if there is sufficient demand.
