We are partnering up with a couple of different organisations this month for two exciting spring activities.

11th April, 1-3pm – Family Learning Roadshow @ Tayport Community Garden

Join us on Wednesday 11th of April for an afternoon of family fun. You can try your hand at plant sowing, mosaic making, finding signs of spring and bird visitors. All children must be accompanied by an adult. Refreshments are provided.

22nd April, 10 am – Saltmarsh restoration @ Tayport East Common

Later this month we are joining Dr Clare Maynard to help with saltmarsh restoration project at the Tayport East Common. We will be digging and planting along the muddy shore to restore an important marsh habitat to its full health. Meet at a small carpark on Links Road North – the one down from the Links store.

Please bring with you:

  • Your oldest, warmest, waterproof outdoor clothes
  • Wellies (we will bring some along from the Garden just in case)
  • A packed lunch if you plan to stick around all day but snacks and hot drinks are provided.

If you can’t make it on 22nd you can join Clare at other sessions in Tayport or at Eden Estuary – get in touch with her via email: cem3@st-andrews.ac.uk.
