We are very excited for our Tattie Workshop on Sunday 22 of January. It will take place at the Scout Hall, Elizabeth Street, Tayport from 2-4pm.

John Marshall who is a Scottish potato expert will be leading the workshop and will be on hand to offer advice on how to grow potatoes, the different varities available, their history and how and when to plant them. It’s a fun, interactive workshop for beginners and experienced gardeners so if you have any questions about potatoes, want to learn something new or need advice about how to grow them in your garden or in bags and containers please come along.  The workshop is free and open to all.  There will also be some tattie craft activities for children so please bring them along too.  We will supply tea and cake and juice for the kids.

If you are unable to make it but have a burning tattie question please leave it in the comments below or email Jenny at volunteer@tayportgarden.org and we will pass it on to John.
