Madison’s summer in Tayport Community Garden

My name is Madison and I am 7. I live in Barbados but spent the summer with my Granny in Tayport.

In the garden I planted lots of spinach and it grew big.

I saw a wood wasp. I watered lots and lots of plants. I picked and ate fresh peas. Now I like peas.

People Learning About Nature in Tayport (PLANT) is a Tayport Community Trust subgroup which works to achieve TCT’s overall aim of promoting a vibrant and sustainable community, with improved quality of life, specifically through projects involving growing food and flowers, while enhancing Tayport’s natural environment.
