Baskets with produce

The annual Ferryport Gala is happening this Saturday and with the weather forcast promising us some sunshine so it should be great fun! The parade kicks off from the Harbour at 11:30am and the event continues at the Tayport Common from 12:00 to 4:00 pm.

As usual PLANT will be there in the afternoon at the Tayport Common, sharing the stand with Cyclestart Tay Coast and Tayport Community Trust. We will have produce from Tayport Community Garden for sale alongside information on how you can get involved in our activities, including volunteering, gardening workshop programme and Grow@Home scheme. Come by and say hello!

Cyclestart will also be teaching some basic bike maintenance and simple repairs – adjusting gears, breaks and repairing punctures. So bring your bike along.

Can you help with harvest and the stand on Saturnday?

Lend Margaret a hand with harvesting and weighing of produce at the Community Garden from 9.30-10.30.  If you fancy helping sell produce at the event itself (12 noon to 4 pm), Margaret would really appreciate it too.

Hope to see you there!
